Are you looking for a unique piece of art? If so, head to the Boulevard Fine Art Gallery.
Nestled in nearby Clarendon Hills, it features one of the area’s most extensive collections of original art.
The artists come from across the globe, and highlights include:
Jennifer Bowman is an award-winning artist who has exhibited for sixteen years. In 1996 and 1997, she and her husband traveled from Seattle to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on their sailboat. During that time, she spent an extensive year of study mastering her technique which led to a commission of forty boat paintings. Her work has since graced the cover of 48 Degrees North, and it’s also found in private and corporate collections around the world.
By the age of twelve, Robert Chapman knew he was going to be an artist. After serving in the military, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in printmaking from Arizona State University. Robert also works in quilt making, beadwork, and embroidery, and his work has been exhibited in Europe and the United States. He is known for his attention to detail and love of his craft.
Kalinka Duaiv was born in Paris to artistic parents. Her father was a famous artist, and by the time she was seventeen, she organized his exhibits. In 2007, Kalinka devoted herself exclusively to painting. She mainly creates landscapes and works with pallet knives, brushes, and paint rollers.
Born in the Midwest, Ken DeWaard’s talent for art was apparent at a young age. He studied with nationally recognized watercolorist, Irving Shapiro, and his subject matter is from daily life. Ken travels extensively throughout Italy and the United States and has spent much time painting the Italian countryside and American vistas.
