Soup and sandwich at Blackberry Market.

Enjoy Delicious Soups and Sandwiches at Blackberry Market

A sandwich and a bowl of soup — now that’s a classic lunch. One of the best new spots to stop for a sandwich and soup is Blackberry Market, a fast-casual cafe in downtown La Grange.

All About Blackberry Market

Anna Davidson, the owner of Blackberry Market, grew up in Arkansas with a true appreciation for food and the culinary arts. She learned to cook and bake from her grandmother. Anna especially enjoyed using the freshly picked blackberries from the surrounding hills in her creations. Today, Anna lives in the Chicagoland area, and she brings that same passionate commitment to culinary excellence to Blackberry Market.

Everything at Blackberry Market is baked from scratch using high-quality ingredients. The cafe itself has a welcoming, cozy vibe — guests start to feel like family before long. There’s also an outdoor seating area that’s perfect for sunny days and free Wi-Fi for all customers.

The Breakfast Menu

If you’re visiting for breakfast, be sure to try the Breakfast Powerbowl. You’ll get Mediterranean quinoa with arugula and roasted red peppers and onions. Your bowl will be topped with two eggs cooked any way you like it. If you’re on a low-carb diet, try the Breakfast Stack on Greens. You can choose either an all-veggie, bacon & eggs, or ham & cheese platter. Note that bread won’t be served with the Breakfast Stack on Greens, but you’ll get a side of homestyle fries with your meal.

The Lunch Menu

If you’re visiting for lunch, you can’t go wrong with the Blackberry Market Salad. It’s topped with blackberries, goat cheese, spiced pecans, and a blackberry vinaigrette. The Italian wedding soup, which is made daily from scratch, is a nice accompaniment to the salad. In fact, with the Mix & Match option, you’ll be able to order a half salad, a half sandwich, soup, and a side of your choice.

Bakery Items at Blackberry Market

Be sure to grab a couple of bakery items to take home for later. The cinnamon rolls are tender and sweet, and the scones flaky and rich. Blackberry Market also offers cookies, muffins, brownies, and cupcakes.
