Entertain Yourself at Woodridge Public Library

Woodridge Public Library has been a part of the community since 1966. This establishment continues to bring literature, art, culture, and a sense of belonging to the people of Woodridge. Concert: History of American Country Music (November 17th)

From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., interested individuals will be able to join their peers at the Mahlke Meeting Room at Woodridge Public Library for a concert.

Singer/guitarist Steve Justman will play everything from bluegrass to contemporary country music selections. This concert gets its inspiration from an eight-part documentary on country music by Ken Burns. The documentary features unique footage of country music performances and interviews with over 80 country music artists.

Library Needlers (November 19th)

On Tuesday, November 19th, bring your needle-based projects & supplies to the Woodridge Public Library for an evening of crafts and conversation. Get to know your neighbors while sharing tips, laughter, and inspiration. The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Crime Readers Book Discussion @ Home Run Inn Pizza (November 21st)

Do you love mysteries? If so, you’ll love this November book discussion. The featured novel will be Anne Hillerman’s The Song of the Lion, a Navajo tribal crime story. When Officer Bernadette Manuelito and her husband, Sergeant Jim Chee, investigate a car bombing, they discover more than they bargained for.

This book discussion will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Home Run Inn Pizza in Darien. Participants can have dinner at the restaurant at 6:00 p.m. before the discussion begins.
