While the Arboretum works through its phased opening, the grounds and select buildings are open for your viewing pleasure. Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park
Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park is only open on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, it’s still fun and beautiful to see—and best of all—it’s free! Biking, hiking, and walking are all welcome at the park, as are dogs on their leashes. Masks are required to enter the park.
As part of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, Waterfall Glen has been a favorite of Chicago-area natives for generations. Known for the Rocky Glen waterfall, Sawmill Creek bluff overlook, and extensive trails, the Waterfall Glen is open daily from one hour after sunrise until one hour before sunset. Biking, hiking, and walking are all welcome at the preserve. You can even bring your dog along on a leashed adventure!
